Reclaiming your bottom screen from BT & WyFy Icon...

I read some time ago people are wondering how to reclaim that precious couple of pixels on the bottom of the screen and couldn't find any solution. Well I can't find that thread anymore, but I found the solution.

Go to Windows/Startup... and delete the BT icon and WyFy icon shortcut.

Viola!

The only drawback is no more icon to check signal strength... but, you still have the green/blue LED.

Hope this help someone...

I don't know about you, but those 20 some odd pixels on the bottom right of the screen are fine for me. I don't need to reclaim then.

Actually, I would love to see all active tasks on the bottom of the Today screen. Then I would know at a glance what was open. (I'm an old Gigabar fan.)

I would think deleting the shortcut would be easier and cheaper (free)... :approve:

true, but WAD is prettier. You can make a custom theme to your liking (as I am doing Half-Life style) for a WM5 device!

Since you're a Redsox fan, I can answer that

WAD is Wisbar Advanced Desktop - a plugin for Wisbar Advanced 2. (www.lakeridgesoftware.com).

WAD allows you to customize your today screen - with virtual pages (separate today screens, each of which can be configured with different plugins, etc) Docks, buttons, shortcuts, custom text, etc.)

Its a great plugin, it helps me deal with the today screen clutter (I have a couple of virtual pages so I don't have a single page with tons of tons of today plugins)

Don
