I've just bought it on setember 05.

Any download to WM5 you find on the Internet would be to an illegal copy and not allowed on Aximsite. Where are you located? Search the Classifieds for a legitimate copy or also on Ebay.

I'm in france but I just buy it at the end of september and I don't understand why dell had sold me a W2003SE.
That's why i'm serching a ROM upgrade for my X50v.
Now, if the only solution is to buy it, i'll do it but it seems to have a lot of bug, truth or false ?

The X50v ship with WM2003 SE originally, that's what you bought and why it was sent to you.

From Dell's French website:

There are some bugs in WM5 that will probably make your experience with the X50v less than favorable. If you just got the device, and really want to enjoy using it, stick with WM2003SE. WM2003SE is an excellent operating system, to be honest WM5 is not really worth the upgrade. However, if you are a technology fan and wouldn't mind the challenge of trying to get WM5 to work on your PDA and willing to deal with bugs and issues that arise, then when you finally get it to work, you'll get a slightly "prettier" looking OS, and a few other benefits.

I bought my copy from Ebay.com for $13 shipped. Try searching there for a good deal, make sure to look around.
