Hi,
i just upgraded to wm5.0 with the new active sync. to my x50v.
When I did the upgrade, I tried to restore my old programs that I backed up. No restore function. How do I reload my old settings and programs?

you reinstall them from scratch - just like the upgrade instructions told you! you did read the readme before doing the upgrade?

you can sync the pim info with outlook - everything else requires a reinstall.

Hang in there man, when you work out the kinks.. you'll like it. Reinstall all your software, it actually works out best this way because it gets organized better. Try to check on each program to make sure it is compatible from the list on this forum. If you can, install one program at a time, and use it a little while to determine that it has not caused any system problems, then move on to the next. Software sometimes causes the most headaches and it is easy to presume that something is wrong with your device. Good luck!
