safe mode?

Yesterday I soft reset and once the progress bar got to 100%, an outline of a box appreared in the middle of the screen, and i could not boot. After trying anything I could think of, I hard reset...

With Sprite Backup not avail for wm5, I used the internal backup/restore. It sucks and even with it, it took me hours to rebuild my axim yesterday.

It just happened again! I don't see what I can do other than hard reset, but I don't want to. This time the box outline is bigger, but that's the only difference. Is there any way to start in 'safe mode'?

I don´t know if SPB Pocket Plus 3 works with WM5, but it has a great "safe boot" option with it. Give it a try

Wish I knew that a beforehand. Thanks, but I can't get past the box outline on the dell splash screen. :(
