Rats, really hoped softick will be a little bit futher along wm5 support than just working on it, but atleast I feel better it hasn't been ruled out or something. I have a microdrive in x50v, and it's not practical to pull it in and out every time you want to mount it. First, it doesn't have the grooves to grab onto to remove, and second, it doesn't take much to turn those disk platters into disk dust.

If you can install software, AS is free for download by anyone with an internet connection. Once you have AS you can explore the device. I do agree that is less useful, and useless for someone who can't install.

I don't know about this, but since Win XP (SP2 only) has Bluetooth support now, with a USB BT adapter it might be possible to transfer files to and from the Axim, possibly without software. Maybe, maybe not.

Axim does support WiFi and also supports SMB shares, so you can use it to connect to shares on your personal PC via WiFi, or if that is not possible you might be able to have some share on your company network you can access from both Axim WiFi and PC to use to get files back and forth.
