WM5 & Activesync 3.7

Quick and easy question for someone.

Can you use WM5 with Activesync 3.7.x? I know WM5 comes with V4, but my network administrator will not allow me to install V4 onto the network PCs :rolling: .

Sorry dude, go to the activesync forums and there you will find out that AS 3.7 first, does not work with WM5 and second, the AS 4.x have some issues with firewalls and security sw (in my case Sygate sw), but try to talk with your IT manager and ask permission, this is not a sw that is a risk for the network or the computer...

Thanks for the update, you've just saved me £25!!

It's a question of cost. Our IT is contracted out. To get the IT people to add it will cost the company several hundred pounds, therefore my managment cant see any business benefit in me going to WM5. (Bugger)

Take a word of advice. Never outsource your IT support.
