After 3 weeks of trying to accept reeaaalllly slow performance after upgrading to WM5, my x50v decided to spontaneously hard reset itself last night. :bang:

Since I have to reload everything now anyway, I'm going back to 2003SE.

My question is does Activesync 4.1 work with 2003SE? I sync with an Exchange server and like the ability to sync tasks but I'll give that up if it's flaky.

Faster file transfer speed and photo sync via Outlook are only available for Windows Mobile 5.0-based devices. For customers using Windows Mobile 2003 or 2002-based devices, please continue using ActiveSync 3.8

I use 4.1 with WM2003se and have had no problems. I find it faster and very stable. I wish I could say the same about the combination 4.1 & WM5. My experience of the two together hasn't been good.

I have been using WM2003SE & 4.1 for the last week since I reverted back to 2003 with no problems. In fact it seems faster than 3.8, I know the backup is.
