WM5 with DELL, no thanks....

I just test an Ipaq, with WM5 and test the BT and works perfect, test the WIFI and is fast, test the CF card, and does not disappear (for 2 hours no errors) I even test the Phone tools (when I upgrade to WM5 with my X50V does not work at all) and this works perfect, I am not sure about this, but, this ones no error at all, and the X50V and X51V only issues, I am loyal to DELL, but the facts says other thing, C'mon DELL do not disappoint me...I was always proud of my X50V, but not today... Also the SYNC, was smooth and beautiful, no issues at all, no problems, just conect sync it and disconnect, I was not able to do it when I had the X50V with the "DELL UPGRADE"...

This guy use to have a Palm T3 and I was so proud of my X50, then he had another Ipaq, same thing mine was better, and today...I LOST THE FAITH IN DELL

I was reading a poll at PocketPC thoughts about the won't power on issues and the poll said 206 Axim users had the problem and 104 HP users had the issue. So I guess that HP does have some issues as well. http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/inde...n=expand,44897

Don't know about your upgrade. I, too , have an X50v and upgraded it to WM5. No problems whatsoever. Bt, WIFI, Activesync, everything works fine. No power drain, no losing cards, nothing.
The people with IPAQ that I know have the problems you described.
I wondered if you had read Solsie's post and did all that tweaks. They will be helpful.

the worse thing of all is eating your own words...I have an X51v with WM5 (and I do still have my X50v with WM2003SE), beside the issue of not able to Active sync, just BT, loosing all the services compared to WM2003SE, and from once in a while lossing my CF card, I love the WM5 and still use my X51v ( I love it, 256 MB...cooollll)
