Just Updated to WM5!

I went ahead and took the plunge. Luckily I've had absolutley no problems at all. I was able to connect right up to my wireless network with wep enabled with no problems. Able to pair my V551 to my X50 with no problem. Able to pair my Laptop with my X50 no problem. I haven't had the "losing card" problem either.I was able to setup my Gmail with my X50, I can now send and recieve email right from my X50. My next task is to try to enable DUN through my motorola V551. If this works everything I was able to do with WM2003SE will now have been acomplished with WM5. Granted I haven't added my Apps back on yet. Thats the scary part!!

See, I didn't have any problems either. I've had it installed over a month now with no incident. Glad to hear another success story after hearing all of the horror stories. Thanks for sharing your experience.

are you able to use bluetooth AND the cradle with activesync 4.0 (or 4.1, which version are you using?)? This has been my only problem with WM5.0

And may I ask what DUN is? I have no clue.

I am using activesync 4.0, cradle only. I tried using bluetooth activesync when I had WM2003se and it never worked reliably, so i'm not going to try it with WM5 either.
DUN is Dial Up Networking. I have a Motorola V551 bluetooth phone. The DUN profile on the V551 allows me to use the phone as a modem for my X50. With my V551 and X50 I can Surf the Internet, send & recieve emails, or chat on aximsite from almost anywhere.
