I have not had either the Dell or Sunnysoft back-up utilities completely work. Dell errored every single time on multiple PDA's. Sunnysoft was better, but still had some annoying quirks in the upgrade such as losing my DUN settings and my Yahoo e-mail dissappeared from messaging, but I could still see it in Pocket Breeze. There were a few other things that did not seem to be "caught" by the back-up. I can't wait for Sprite to put a compatible program out. I've reloaded my software (over 20 programs) so many times I am starting to memorize my registration codes!

Am I the only one that has noticed that Activesync 4.1 (latest build) has the backup utility back in it, as opposed to AS 4.0? It works fine for me under WM2003, and am curious if it works on WM5... Has anyone played with it under WM5? My sneaking suspicion is that the menu item disappears when used with WM5...am I right?

It was probably left out of the pre-release versions. This is often the case with MS products. You should see the Windows Vista Beta 1. It's very bare bones, many components have been left out. It was designed simply to give the user a preview of the OS to come . . .
