Hmmmm. No problem with X50v and battery here with WM5. I did however have a short battery life before getting ActiveSync Schedule setting off of "Continuous" and on to "Manual". There is a thread in AximSite that describes how to do it since the Schedule option in Menu of ActiveSync screen is greyed out. Can't select it. Have to set up a bogus Server Connection to un-grey Schedule option, change the ASync schedule to Manual, then delete the Server Connection afterward (otherwise ASync will try to sync with the bogus server for quite a while before falling back to your usual connection). When all this is done, Schedule will be greyed out again but ASync will still be set for Manual. I have an SD card in my X50v and since I got a smart phone a couple weeks ago the Axim has suffered a bit of neglect. In these two weeks the battery has gone from 71% to 52% in idle. It would run down from full charge in about 7 days in idle before the change!

Not for my X50(mid)/WM2003 I can get 4 or more hours with wifi turned on and pretty heavy usage. Of course I have speed turned down to the lowest and the brightness toned down to the lowest I can stand it (when I'm on wifi and away from my charger).
