Today I installed WM5 on my X51. I have installed the Active Sync. However it never works. I get this window that displays "Retreiving settings" but it never does. It keeps on going and going without any outcome.
After I installed version 5, I deleted the old partnership but can't create the new one.
Any help will be appreciated.

I had this same problem at my workplace. I believe its related to the firewall settings. MS's workaround is located at:

Instead of trying to fix it because changing firewall settings would take an act of Congress, I switched to infrared which works fine. Also hear BT works fine. If you research the Axim site you will find others with this issue. I believe this is a WM5/ActiveSync 4.x problem.

The microsoft site now has the 4.1 upgrade for Active Sync. I downloaded and installed it and it has solved my problem.
