Since you're doing a daily backup anyway, could you run a tiny test for me? Can you make a backup, then after that put one new testfile somewhere (for example in program files) and then restore?

After the restore, is the file gone?

I tried using built in backup and try to restore on my replacement unit. Failed halfway. Ended up using Sunnysoft Backup Manager. Works but some problems.
