Connection Problems via Active Sync

Hi, I have upgraded my Axim X50v to WM5 and it is working ok on my PC at home, I have set up partnership with my desktop at home and it syncs okay apart from I keep getting an error with the Notes Synchronisation. Also I have tried to create a partnership with my laptop and it isnt happening, basically my laptop can detect when the axim is attached via usb and disconnected via usb...but when I connect, Active Sync just sits at Connecting and the little green active sync symbol just keeps spinning..

anyone got any fixes for these please?

I have found that Active Sync works best if I make sure it is closed on the Axim before plugging it in. I get all kinds of strange problems, including the one you mention, if I have active sync running on the Axim when it is hooked in.

I use the switcher bar to be sure active sync is closed. I had 2 instances, however, where it was not showing in switcher bar, but it was listed as running in the memory utility. Once I killed it in the memory utility, it started behaving again.
