Question Retreiving same email more than once

Using the messaging in WM5 I have noticed MANY times it retreives the same email more than once. The first time I read it and delete it then later it retreives that same email again. Any ideas why this happens?

I have been unable to find an option in Messenger on the Axim to stop this, but on Outlook Express on a desktop PC there is an option to leave email on the server after you read it. My guess is, this option is active on the Axim. If you read the email on your desktop and this option is not checked the email messages should "go away"

Where do you find that option? I am using Outlook 2002 which should be similar and I can not find it? Thanks

Click on tools, then click accounts, click properties, click advanced. Leave messges on server should NOT be checked.

You may want to check with your ISP, sometimes on their settings before it is forwarded to your Outlook, the server will hang onto it. If you can logon to your ISP and check e-mails there and check settings for the same setting as mentioned above. I use prodigy.net and when I log into their website and logon, I can go to my own mail and I have settings available there.

If you retrieve your email from your PC (not Axim), you should not see it again either on your PC or your Axim. If you retreive your email on the Axim you WILL see it again,. I have no fix for this, does anyone have any ideas, an option that could be set to delete email that has been read using the Axim?
