Graphic Failure

Hey,

I have just hard resetted my unit and installed about 20 Programs containing all important stuff. Now I have some problems with my graphics. Just look the screenshots I added and dont care about the language :).

My second problem is the switch bar. I have opened up many programs, but switchbar dont shows them everytime. Please look 2nd Screenshot.

Both problems just can be solved by softresetting the unit.

What do you think is the problem?

Happens all the time to me after about 23 minutes on internet explorer.

the whole screen turnes that way and it comes off only when i reset

think it will be fixed in the rom update.

Always happens and i finally found someone with the same problem

(oh yeah it will continue)

Hm, that sounds bad, but I'm glad to hear that's not the fault of my unit ;)

Hmmmm,

happens to me too, not notes that it happened after a certain time, may time myself and see though.

Upgraded to the latest ROM and still happens.

Also:

I use a particular website for work a lot, one very important feature is a link to info that appears on my pc as a pop up screen, on my ppc in pie this does not show, how can I show this pop up, or will another browser work, if so which?

So many questions - so new to my pda

yeah, it happens with PIE for me as well. Whats weird is that it happened once right after I did a reset. The Dell logo came on then the Today screen is all screwed up. Similar to the PIE problem but slightly different. But then another reset solved it. Guess its just software.

Yep , happens to me on my today screen. I havnt had is since removing sbsp pocketweather and reverting to marsware weatherpanel. not sure if that was the cause though as I hardreset and reinstalled all my other stuff too.

I had it occasionally too. Haven't found out why, but a soft reset always clears it. I haven't had it since the A06 upgrade, but that is certainly no guarantee that it is fixed (probably isn't based on an earlier post).

Well.....It's just happened again, and I can see a pattern developing, it always seems to be during a visit to a sailing forum, there is a little animation running on the forum the whole time and I wonder whether this could be causing the problems? As always a soft reset solves it.

To me, it looks like there's a resource leak in PIE. I see this when I view a page that contains several large images. I'm guessing that it's freeing the system image list (which contains the start menu icons, among others) instead of freeing the images that were just loaded.
