I think that another problem that Opera has (at least I have not found a way to go around it) is that you can't set it has your default browser. It does not work if you try to set Opera as the default application to open .htm and .html files. If you do that it just open Opera but it's not capable of handling the %1 OS variable.
I know that this is a problem that other are having because at least two people have asked me to check it but so far I have to admit that I have not found a way to go around this problem.
BTW, Opera does not use the registry to keep the settings in the registry, it uses INI files.
Hey guys, can someone explain how to get this working? I have installed the cab file, copied over the modified opera.dll file to windows, but am still getting a locked error. Am I supposed to copy the .dll to another location?

The speed and other good feature are due to the fact that you are not accessing the web page directly. Everytime you request a web page that an “Opera Server” reformats web page. So we could call what you see in your PPC a "preprocessed" version of the original web site.
Im pretty sure that's not what happens, since Ive built an IP check in my site, which only allows a few dutch mobile gateways and I can browse it just fine. If "opera.com" is inbetween I dont think it would work.
Anyway I love it so far  very very fast, and

well, I was testing one of the versions of Opera for SP a few months ago and everytime I opened www.google.com I was getting the version in some european language. I asked the developer team why was that and that's what they explained to me. Google.com was picking the language from the OS installed in the Opera Server. That was a beta version of Opera, and this issue was not longer present in the final version.

Well all i can say is that it hasn't crashed yet! I mean I am loving the new netfront, but it crashes so frequently, and minimo can't download a thing, so I have been searching for a replacement that won't crash.
I had heard Opera uses a proxy type feature like Ctitanic was talking about, but am not sure if that will be integrated into the WM version. I can not get Opera to work properly at work as my network will not allow the type of proxy authentication that Opera uses.

Actually, that is default behaviour for a lot of sites. I'm not saying that it isn't possible that opera uses some 'stripping' tool, however fact is that some (not all) browsers report the preferred language they would like to see. If a site (like google) supports internationalisation, you will get your own language version. That's exactly what happens here in firefox in NL.. I type google.com and get directed to a dutch page.

Where are the Connection Settings? I need to set up a proxy. Based on my quick surf of the intranet I like it already - the webpages fit the screen without side-scrolling, for starters!
