I've tried Launchcast with Opera 8.5. I can get the player to open and the "Tuning" message but it never starts playing :( Anyone else try?

Here's a weird one:
1. I run Magic Button as a program manager
2. If I run Opera from the programs directory and then shut it down the programs directory just doesn't wanna disappear, and I can't get back to the 'Today' screen without reseting the machine.
Anyone knows what to do?

Wow! Just installed and it looks amazing! Mighty fast compared to PIE! Just testing it out now.

Finally, a web browser that is better than PIE and supports Javascript way better! I can use this quick reply now, and the Google Personalized homepage dragging works!!! :D Thanks for the English.lng file btw!

Copy the Opera.cab file to your PDA and install. Once installed you will need to browse to the Program Files directory in your PDA's operating system. Click on the Opera folder and replace the original dll file with the modified dll file. This will allow Opera to run on any WM5 PDA.

I downloaded opera from developer's site ...
http://ftp.opera.com/pub/.custom/partners/sharp/
same CAB name but seems to be updated/changed to newer then your version of CAB file when compared ... haven't tried either one yet .. I wondered what's changed ???
( you can view what's inside a CAB file using WINRAR or any CAB viewer program ) ... my CAB file link have 25files compared to your 24files .... and those files also have a newer dates too.
not sure which one I should try :) ... wondered if the developer updated for the better or for the worse
....
also ... check out this review here ... they tested on x50v BTW ;)

I'm sticking with the "original" version. It seems to work faster and with fewer problems.
Favorites? Try this: http://tinyurl.com/bydjv. Above the Operu 8.5 Mobile click the Download program link. Copy it over to your PPC and run it. It exports your PIE favs into Opera. You'll have to go to Manage Bookmarks to move them about.

Not that I can see. Opera appears to keep the fav's in a single file, opera6.adr, it seems.

I tried it. The font is so small. Basically, it is useless.
