Anybody tried the Opera 8.5 for WM5?

Wonder if anybody tried it. IPAQ HQ has posted the link to the cab and the modified opera.dll as well. I have them downloaded and is going to play around with it soon.

Wow, its so much faster then the PIE. And render Chinese as well!!

Now it will be perfect if it has gesture support.

Got it working on my JasJar running WM5. Seems OK so far on sites like BBC News but I need to try other websites.

I also have it on my x51v (WM5, duh :P). It is a great browser IMHO. I use Opera Webbrowser for PC too, so seeing the mini-me version is great. I like some features it houses, such the fullscreen feature, multiple windows (unlimited), zooming capabilities and no double pixeling.
It even has skinning support, although i doubt there will be alot of skins.
I recommend this piece of software to everybody.

That's interesting. I tried it on my X51v and it was much slower than PIE.

If you read the forum link, the cab file will not work on wm2003se. i guess we are out of luck for the time being. however, if a BT fix surfaces, it might be time to break out the ole wm5 upgrade CD!
