Mad Supertasks killed my Axim ¿? Forced hard-reset

After reading about people using supertasks to track down the cpu hogging processes in WM5 a few weeks ago, I decided to download the trial and check it out. The program must have hooked into the startup of the Axim, so it gets started even if your not using it.

After a routine daily soft-reset today the progress bar goes to about 85% and then a supertasks "trial period over, enter a valid license key blah blah" page appeared. At this point the Axim is frozen, there is no keyboard initialized yet, or so it seems. No buttons are functional. Its all over. :[

My only solution was a hard reset, detroying all my data. Maybe this was a isolated incident. Maybe not. If you installed supertasks, beware...

Time to go check out that new beta of WM5 sprite backup...

I've got almost same problem. I've installed something, which hooked up into startup. And at when progress bar was about 95% my Axim froze. I wonder is there any way in WM5 to pass startup procedure for user-installed applications? Something like safe mode in desktop windows.

SBP Pocket plus has a safe-mode feature, only I had it disabled
