Pocket Access?

My boss recently bought an Axim with WM5 so he could sync a database on his PC. The software vendor says you can sync it to any PDA, and they take you step-by-step on how to do it. The first thing you have to do is have Pocket Access on your PDA. It appears WM5 does not have Pocket Access, as it doesn't appear in ActiveSync 4.1 "Options". Is there a way to get Pocket Access for WM5, or is my boss out of luck? Thanks in advance for the help!

There are several PPC databases that use the Pocket Access file format. ActiveSync used to include a Pocket Access conduit for synchronizing between PPC and desktop (MS Access) databases but the conduit was dropped in AS4. I understand that an alternative method for synchronizing databases under AS4 will be available but I do not know when.

If your boss's needs are not too complex he may be able to use HandBase. It uses its own conduit to synchronize between desktop databases and the HandBase format and I have read that it works with AS4.
