WM5 Theme help, please

I am posting this ln the WM5 forum because I have a feeling it may be a big factor in my woes.

I have tried to download both several themes as well as theme editors, all to no avail. No matter what I do, the theme shows up the same... the command & start bars all show-up in either 8 or 16 colors, and gradient fills (2 colors) don't show. The odd part is, it WILL show more colors & gradients in the pop-up windows (i.e. message or warning pop-ups).
I don't know if it is related, but several navbar (I believe that's the name) programs, with the drop down running task lists, show up dysfunctionally (white text on white background ).
Any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated!

(I believe) Answer Found!

I believe I ran into the answer to my own question, while looking at various pocket pc websites...

"Windows Mobile 5 devices will not display themes designed for older devices in the same way. The images will display and all colors, other than the Navigation Bar (Title Bar) and Command Bar colors, will display properly.

Currently there is no know way to set the Navigation Bar and Command Bar colors for WM 5 devices. The OS uses the main image to calculate a base color that it uses to automatically set the colors for the Navigation and Command Bars." - http://www.wmthemes.com/

I figured I would leave my post (and presumed answer) up, however, as several others have viewed it (I assume because they too have experienced this problem).
