Hey, I've noticed that if I make a shortcut from a program on my SD card (pocketSNES in my case) to the start menu, these shortcuts disappear whenever I restart (soft reset).

Anyone experience this, know a workaround? Maybe I should make a shortcut to a shortcut or something? Naw that won't work I don't think..

Maybe someone has a little program that only has one function: launch the program that you specify in its commandline?

I've never had a problem with that on my wm2003se axim. Sounds like another one of those wm2005 bugs.

Well, I had this problem with both WM2003SE and WM5. Luckily, there is a very small app that you install to the \Windows\Startup folder in your PPC and it solves this. Read this article explaining your problem and it has the link to the solution I am mentioning. Good luck!

Hey, thanks for trying to help but sadly.. it didn't.

You see my problem is not what this startmenu refresher fixes. The refresher fixes 'bad icons' - icons that are replaced with a generic one.. My problem is the icons to SD-card programs disappear altogether
