excel mobile save as...

I have an x50v upgraded to WM5. (thanks to the filesys patch version 5 it is really fast now!). Whenever I try to close out of an Excel Mobile spreadsheet, I get the following message:
"Unsupported content may be lost if you save this workbook. Tap Save As to create a copy or replace the file. Tap Discard to close workbook without saving changes."
If I tap on Save As, it automatically renames the file and creates a new one. I suppose I could save over the old one, but then I have to remember the version that it was before. If I try to guess the old file name, I end up creating another file anyway. Now I've got a bunch of files floating around, and who knows which one is the right one. Is there a way to disable this notice and just save over my old spreadsheet? I understand I will lose formatting but I'm used to that.

Thanks!

I've had this same problem since getting my X51V. However, I saved my work files in main memory just for app speed of loading and easy sync to my PC. Whenever I am out on the road and modify my work sheet I got the save as thing. I would just remove the (1) or whatever number was after the filename and save. It would prompt me if ok to overwrite. All worked out ok until this past week when I get the error can't save no matter what I would try.

My main use for the Axim is working out on the road and sync so I am really in need. I don't know what would cause the ROM app Excel Mobile to start kicking this error after working (sorta) for so long.

I restored a backup image from Sprite from when it was working and that didn't do any good.

After reading Aximsite for a long enough time I finally decided to put the file on the SD card. Ok now I can save it, but in order to sync it to card, I had to use 3rd party software. So far it seems to work but I wonder if there is a fix for this problem.

Anyone with the fix for this I surely would apprciate it!

Thanks!
