Hi,

A few days ago I bought an Axim X51v through the Belgian website of Dell. Yesterday, the handheld was delivered and I was excited.
When I started up the handheld, I saw it had Windows Mobile 5.0 Dutch installed. This was something I had overlooked during the ordering process. When I checked back, I noticed that the only Operating Systems I could choose from were Dutch or French.
But, as said before, when I placed the order, I hadn't checked this, because when we orderded PC's or notebooks from Dell, they always came with an English Operating System, so I assumed (stupid, I know) that it would be the case for the Axim too.
As my computers at home (both desktop and notebook) and my computer at work are equipped with an English Operating System, and as there are more possibilities with an English Operating System, I was wondering if it is possible to change the Operating System from Dutch to English?
I have already sent an email to Dell's Support, but haven't got an answer back. That's why I'm posting it here.
Hope someone can help me out.
If more information is needed, just ask.

Have you tried going to the US dell support site and getting the bios from a US axim? I could be wrong but if you flash it with a US(english) bios it should work fine.

I'm not sure about doing this overseas... but in the US there's the 21 day return option as well, so you might be able to send it back ?
