Hey guys I am kinda new here so please bare with me. Ok I have a X50v that came pre-installed w/ windows mobile 2003se I purchaced the WM5 upgrade for x50v and did the upgrade. Now when I try to connect useing Activesync my desktop can not recognise my device in the cradle. It is connected through usb and I am useing Activesync 4.0 I have uninstalled Activesync several times and hard reset my pda several times. I don't think it is a hardware problem. I belive the chances that my cradle died right after the install are kinda slim, and I know my usb ports are hot because they will work with other usb devices I have. I am at a loss any help would be appreciated Thanks guys!

Try ActiveSync 4.1.

I would copy the my documents folder for your pocket pc to a backup location, delete your partnership, update to activesync 4.1 and cross your fingers.

You might want to consider downgrading back to WM2003SE. WM5 is a bit unstable as yet.
