Defrag
I was wondering if you can do a defrag on the Axim itself. I have done one on my SD card, but am just wondering if it is possible to be done on the unit itself. Thanks for any in put that anyone can provide me.

There's probably no benefit. It's not hard disk based media where you have a tangible delay caused by seek time (the movement of the heads). If you are for some reason concerned about it the best way is probably just to move all your data off and then move it all back on.

Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

Flash drivers automatically defrag. You can write to any address in flash but to clear data, you must clear an entire block of memory. That block usually contains some data you wish to keep. The driver will consolodate that data to another block in flash before clearing a block of flash. The driver also keeps track of which blocks were erased so that no one area of flash wears out before the rest.
