This is just a trivial gripe but everytime I start IE and it goes to the homepage it always brings up the %*&^* keyboard. Is there a way to stop the keyboard from popping up when you first start IE?

I use nullkeyboard when this happens. Nothing pops up. Using pocket tweak, i set it to my defualt sip. So now the osk only comes up when i want it to.

So if you use the NullKeyboard or Zenokeyboard you have to actively select a different keyboard when you do want to enter text and then deselect it afterwards? Pressing the keyboard button at the bottom to close the keyboard is easier than that.
