Do I want iLauncher or Pocket plus
After recovering from a hard reset,I'm wondering if I am putting on conflicting programs.
I currently have pocket breeze, pocket weather and pocket informant.
I am looking for a program for today plug ins and to close programs with the X bar.Do I want to put on iLauncher or pocket plus??
Thanks very much.Is there anything else I need for stability?

Well, I have pocket breeze and pocket informant. I also have pocket plus. I'd highly recommend it. Everything works great!

As you've no doubt discovered, SBSH iLauncher does not include the "close program" function that Spb Pocket Plus does. However, there are several other ways to get that.
I have both Spb Pocket Plus and SBSH iLauncher myself and ran both simultaneously for a time.
My recommendation to you is to take a couple of weeks and install the trials of each (serially, not at the same time) and see which one you like. Ask questions, here and on the product forums, read the product manuals, and decide how you want your PDA to look and operate. Read through some of the View MyPDA entries and see what others are doing. Keep in mind there can be some differences between WM2K3.2 and WM5.

note that Pocket plus has lots more features besides the specified today plugin so it's kind of all-in-one, but on the other hand iLauncher allows much more customization, but to complete the other functions you'll have to istall other progs (Like MagicButton for task management, Opera or NetFront for tabbed browsing , etc). My subjective point of view is to get the iLauncher but I suggest you to listen to AKAJohnDoe.

I found that iLauncher caused numerous problems with WM 5, causing the PDA to freeze many times each day. Whenever I removed it, the problem went away. I concluded that it is not compatible with WM 5, and moved to CLaunch, which I think is just a great program (free). Although it is not specified as WM 5 compatible, I have had no problems whatsoever with it.

Thanks, i think I might take iLauncher off as I am getting freeze ups.
I am also getting the message "cannot execute sd/card/program/files/ewallet/ewallet.exe" message.
I have tried uninstalling with soft resets and no luck.Any suggestions?

Is the SD card showing up? If you are running WM5 it has a nasty habbit of losing track of memory cards. I would also suggest deleting the short cut and making a new one to see if that helps.
I bought both programs. I'm running iLauncher now as a custom tab within PocketBreeze. I prefer iLauncher because it has a lot of options to skin it and nice folks like Jukov (take a look at the SBSH forums) are making beautiful icons for it. But having said that both are great programs. I agree with AKAJohnDoe - try a trial of each and see what works best for you.

I've been using SPB Pocket Plus 3.1 Beta 4 in my x51v/WM5 for a couple of days now. I've never experience any battery drain and disappearance of my SD/CF card. Most of the feature are functioning good. The icons are also new.

Thanks for the help. The sd card is showing up fine.I uninstalled ewallet on my pc and ppc and still get this message:
"cannot execute sd/card/program/files/ewallet/ewallet.exe"
I hope i don't have to do a hard reset.
Apperently the synced version of ewalllet is not good for wm5.0.

I have both installed and running on my Axim.
I use Pocket Plus for the Close button, hard button assignment, and Safe mode. (The safe mode feature has saved my arse several times when I installed incompatible progs that froze my axim on startup.)
I use iLauncher's today plugin, and battery meter.
This combination works great.

I'm not sure what you are describing. If the error message is from iLauncher then just delete the short cut. From your description I suspect that the problem is that ewallet is still trying to synch even though you uninstalled it. If this is the case I would try the following:
1. reinstall ewallet and try to again uninstall it. Maybe something got left behind in the uninstall
2. If this doesn't help - uninstall ewallet on both your PPC and PC. On the PC I would use the control panel to uninstall and then check that it's no longer showing up in the ActiveSync list. If it shows on AS I would remove it.
3. Use a registry editor to seach for all instances of 'ewallet' and 'ilium' on both the PC and the PPC - when you find them delete the registry keys. Especially on the PPC look at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Apps/eWallet/Synchronized Wallets. If it is still there nuke it.
4. Restart your PC and soft reset your PPC.
Of course modifying the registry is at your own risk but if I were you this is how I would approach it.
Good luck :)

Running Informant, iLauncher, PocketBreeze & PocketWeather without any problems -- plus SBSH's ContactBreeze. (PocketWeather & iLauncher run as apps within PocketBreeze so only one Today item.)
For application close and reset ability I use TranCreative's Magic Button (free!). They all seem to play together quite nicely.
