Sync and Backup

I just purchased a new Axim x51v and I'm kicking myself for not researching WM5/Activesync4 beforehand since I already sold my x50. does anyone have any recommendations for the following:

1) A utility to perform full backups like Activsync3.8 and prior? I understand the reasoning, but I would prefer to have the ability to back up my Axim before installing a piece of software to leave myself a way to fail back.

2) A utility to allow syncing over WiFi. Again, I understand the reasoning, but this was the reason why I wanted another Axim with wireless.

From some of the replies and from other posts, I gather that Sprite and Sunnysoft are the preferred backups. Sunnysoft was ok but I like the interface on Sprite better. The new release of Sprite for WM5 comes out on Feb. 7, so it looks like I've found my backup solution.

Anybody have any ideas for network sync solutions (sync to a desktop, not a server)? I wish MS would stop crippling their software to force users to do things their way.
