How can I view a PDF attachment in Outlook Web Access?
I use Outlook Web Access (OWA) to check my work email while traveling with my X51v. When a message arrives that contains a Word Doc or Excel spreadsheet attachment I can click on the link which downloads the file and opens it in the appropriate pocket app.
However when the attachment is a PDF, clicking on it opens a message box that instructs me to save the file to disk. I see no pop-up menu or otherwise that allows the file to be saved. Highlighting the link and selecting copy, only copies the text of the link rather than the attached file. I have Acrobat reader installed and it will open PDFs saved on the PPC by clicking on them in file explorer. How can I open PDFs that arrive as file attachments in Outlook Web Access? Thanks in advance. Edit: The mail server is Windows exchange server 2003. | |||||

If you are on Exchange 2003, you can activesync directly with the server and then the attachment would be available to open/save on the axim. It is not possible with OWA on the PPC.

I'm using OWA on an X50v without problem. I would reinstall Adobe. It appears that the file association was lost.
