Programs close when my axim shuts down - how do I stop this?

Whenever my axim shuts off, and I am running iSilo or Textmaker, those programs automatically close. How do I stop this? I think I remember reading something about this somewhere, but can't find anything applicable right now. Help anyone?

This will happen if you have installed your program on the SD/CF cards, if I am not wrong.

Is there any way to install programs to the SD card and not have this problem?

Do you have your pda set to full power off? if so that is why it is killing your programs.

This is a weird prolem that I have too, i have two 1GB SD cards (1 sandisk, 1 viking) and whenever I put my unit into standby with a card in the viking card will "dissappear" for about 1-2 seconds. This is enough to screw up most programs which need to constantly see their files (like MS Reader and so on).

The wierd thing is that the sandisk card does not do this at all, it's permanently there, even just after a standby.

Any idea why this happens, anyone?
