New and still to be improved!

Afternoon all,

I have recently purchased the Dell Axim X51 and was wondering if you guys could shed any light on the basic things you would do to "enhance" the viewing / using pleasure.

At present the only thing i have downloaded is Avantgo which provided news reports. Apart from that the pda remains the same as when the guy at Dell wrapped it up and sent it to me. :)

Are there any holy grail things which you should do to "unleash" the full potential !

Thanks :approve:

Try these:

1) WisBar advance: You can skin just about everything to change the way it looks. Also adds a taskswitcher that is much better than the included one and it actually closes programs

2) PocketBreeze: Your today screen will never be the same. You can customize everything about it. It is hard to describe just how useful this little program is. Download the trial and play around with it for 30 minutes. You'll be hooked.

3) MortPlayer: The finest (IMO) free music player out there. Be sure to get the myPod skin for it. Looks awesome, works great, and it's FREE.

tcpmp is a free software that can be used to watch .avi movies. It supports vga and all around a great player. It has support for many different types of files. I use mortplayer when I just want to listen to music. You can find tcpmp here http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about.

When you get settled in, search the multimedia forum for all the fun things you can do with your new baby.
