Hello all,

I am a new owner of the X51v and I love it so far. I had been playing around with its features when I noticed that when I changed my input method form keyboard to anything else (block writer etc) and hit ok and then go back and check it ...it defaults back to the keyboard input like I never changed it......it this normal? or this should not happen.

Also can I use word on the pda and input data onit with cusive writing and word enters it as regular font text?

I am new to this and a previous palm user ...so pardon my ignorance

I'm not sure how this works in WM5; however, in WM2K3.2 the choice would be tied to an application, rather than globally set. That is, you can set a different default input method for each app. I used Tweaks2K2.net to set the global default and remove the ones I did not want to see (I only wanted the keyboard and block recognizer and wanted the block recognizer (very much like Grafitti version 1) to be the default). You would have to research to see if that particular Tweaks2K2.net option is still available under WM5.

Can we use trascriber input method with Word? cause I cannot seem to selct that as an input method. If we can...how?

here is what I do
1. Goto settings
2. select inpute methog
3. chose transcriber
4. select optoion
A pop up box appears which says cannot display transcriber option till it is slected as an active input method

HOw do I set it as active input method?
