Where's my Calendar??!!!!

I have finally got my Axim 5.1x talking to my PC (lots of USB driver problems) and Activesync "seems" to be working well - mail and contacts are fine. But, although AS says that the Calendar is synced, there are no appointments on the PPC! I have checked filters etc but cannot understand where the calendar entries are, or why they haven't been transferred?

Any ideas?

Regards

David

Have you tried to resync and force a full synchronization?

Not sure how you "force" a full sync. I have unchecked the boxes in "options", synced and re-checked them. Is that what you had in mind?

A bit more info - When I make an entry into the PPC calendar, is syncs with the desktop but entries on the PC are not sent to the PPC.

Check the sync settings to make sure it's set so that it syncs in both directions.

Also it will only sync with outlook, if you are using anything else it won't work.

Also check to see if you are syncing with the same profile that is showing on your pc. I found that i had two profiles in Outlook and it was syncing to the one I wasn't looking at. go to start>control panel>mail then look at the 'show profiles' button to see if you have other ones configured.

Thanks for the responses but I have made no progress.

1) I only have a single "default" Outlook profile

2) I cannot see in AS where there is an option to decide the direction of sync. However, Mail and Contacts transfer to the PPC without problem and entries in the PPC calendar transfer to the PC. It seems to be only the PC calendar that doesn't transfer to the PPC. AS4.1 "thinks" it has synced as there are no error messages and the "synchronised" box is ticked.

Is there a database on the PPC that will show whether the data has been transferred? I was just wondering if the data could be on the PPC but failing to be accessed by the app.

Please keep the suggestions coming! The answer must be out there!!!

Thanks,

David

with the pda off the cradle delete the partnership and tell it to keep the files if it popsup asking you. Do a soft reset on the pda then put the pda back on the cradle and let it re-establish the partnership. it should then re-sync everything.

BigDave,

Thanks but no joy :-(

I have a copy of the Sync log file if anyone fancies having a go at debugging. It means nothing to me.
