Aximsitex50icon Turning off Error Reporting improves performance ?

I've read few threads on other forums talking about Error Reporting.

I understood this will release memory (ROM I assume), but I also understood it will improve performance. Can someone confirm this ?

I turned it off, but before that I had some error reports. Is it useful to remove the reporting files for gaining memory, and if yes what type of files are they and where are they located ?

I have error reporting turned off on my X51v simply because it annoyed me when they wouldn't stop popping up every time there was an error. Whether or not it improves performance, I cannot say as I have yet to notice a difference.

I don't know about performance increase either, but I doubt it frees up ROM to turn it off.

If anything, it will free up RAM. It would do that if it doesn't run when it is disabled.
It won't free up ROM since it isn't deleting itself when you disable it. It just doesn't report errors.
