Now it won't sync or be recognised

Now I am completely stuck. I have upgraded to WM5 and followed the instructions to the letter. But, now I try to sync and I get nothing, it doesn't seem to recognise the device is there. Occasionally it sees it as a guest after a few restarts and reboots etc. Upgraded activesync to 4.1 still noy joy. I have tried
the cradele and the travel lead and neither do it. H E L P!

Strange thing is my smartphone wich runs WM2003 will connect fine and works OK.

I have tried the reversion tool but as it can't find the device no joy. What can I do?

have you tried a hard reset - I know that is pretty crappy to do, but if you can restore how it is currently set up without too much trouble it might be good to try
