Aximsitemobileicon aku 2.0 , aku 2.0 wherefore art thou aku 2.0

I made this thread to spur discussion on aku 2.0. If you don't know what aku 2.0 is, search this site and the internet and you will find tons of info. Anyway in this thread, please post any information(and rumors are fine too..cuz thats the best you can get from the Dell support) about aku 2.0 Adaptation for Axim X51 and X50. This includes release date, will it be released, and what it will include.

we don't believe anymore. when it happens, it will spread like wildfire, in the meantime we sit shell shocked, using combat medicine on our devices, or in my case, use my shrinkwrapped dell upgrade disk as a fine coaster for my xlarge travel mug. :throwcomp

I own a X51v, and the crippled bluetooth is driving me CRAZY!!! I cant use a headset, keyboard, or anything useful without risking the integrity of my ax. Somewhere I heard that aku 2.0 had the new profiles needed for the BT, but dell doesn't seem to care a whole lot :realmad: . Well, I guess we can do nothing but keep asking...

I don't know what you are waiting for. Microsoft has clearly stated that W5 for PDAs will not support headsets. Widcom is the obvious way to go. If these guys had their package on a freeware web site you would install it right? The only difference is you know just enough about these guys to trust them.

yea the widcomm is a success idk y they tried to get rid of it, this was all intentional ,but don't be frusterated jus laugh as it is funny that a company that is very good w/computers and customer support would screw us over like this, actually they should be laughing at themselves too.

What is the suprise. Everybody uses TCMP because media player suxs, Resco or totalcommander because the file manager suxs, some program launcher because the task switcher suxs, A different browser because PIE suxs. We are all dieing for something other than activesync because that suxs. If the headset came with widcom for the WM5 you would install it, right?
