I recently obtained this update/upgrade for my factory installed WM5 X51:

It is entitled "Dell Axim X51 QVGA System Update for Windows Mobile Version 5.0"


However, it indicates in the installation process that it is only applicable for ROM Version 5.0 and shows that I have 2.0. I'm just trying to keep up to date, any help is greatly appreciated as I don't want to install the incorrect update.

Oh yeah, here's some version info, etc. off of my X51. Please advise of any/all updates I should perform, thanks again.

Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0
OS 5.1.1702 (Build 14366.1.0.1)
Intel PXA270
416mhz
64mb RAM
128mb ROM
ROM Version A02

No, you will be INSTALLING ROM version 5.0, so it should work.

Also, beware that upgrading the ROM image will wipe your Axim. Get all important info off of your Axim before proceeding.
