I knew before I ever installed WM5 that there would be bugs with it. Everything MS puts out has bugs at first. They never completely go away. They never will. It's as simple as that. I'm willing to wait until they iron a few of these bugs out though.

you might want to have DELL accept return of WM 5............since it is so buggy:rolling: :rolling:


after I complained then they issued a RMA to take mine back they gave me a refund after that....

I rolled back to to 2003SE and everything is fine..

Many of us purchased 50's and 50v's because the Dell offer was to upgrade to WM5 when it came out. The adds for the 50v depicted full functionality ... certainly not the current situation. At the verry least they have to fix the BT / GPS and constant soft reset and storage issues

There is no chance that Dell would refund the whole cost of our devices. Their only choice is to atempt a fix or face class action.

It was a bit of a battle however Dell agreeded to give me a full refund for the cost of the WM5 upgrade. Good luck to everyone else!
