error message

before i do anything i thought i'd ask the question. i am experiencing an error message each time i update. "a problem has occerred with shell32.exe" it goes on to advise me to report it to ms which i do. what is causing the problem? i don't want to keep hard resetting only to find the issue returns...thanx for any guidance.

Assuming that you are getting this on the pc not the pda, try removing and then re-installing ASync. Sounds like it got messed up somehow. Has it been doing this all along or just started?

i am getting it on my pda, after the message i am asked to submit it to MS, this i do and then everything freezes. i can do a soft reset, but thats just a temporary fix. since my question i have hard reset 3 times, each time error re-appeared. i finally deleted all my handango software and deleted activesync, then reloaded async and just the original programs. so far all is well. could it have been handango. i had pocket mechanic, batterypro, citytime, journalbar, ewallet. I also had roboform loaded. I miss these handango products are they compatible though?....thanks for taking the time
