Looking for Age of Empire type games for x51v

I've sort of become a fan of the roll play/turn based games like Age of Empires and played it many times on my PC and my PPC since my first PDA (iPAQh2215). Unfortunately, the AOE doesn't really want to work well on my WM5 device. It would barely work sometimes when I got an WM2003SE(iPAQ hx2415) to replace my broken 2215.
Are there any games out there right now that work on the VGA x51v models/platforms or do I just have to stick with playing them on my PC at home?

Well, you could download a Java Virtual Machine for the PPC and then play midlets designed for cellphones. The graphics wont be that great but then you could at least play Age of Kinkgs.

BTW, since this was recently developed, and since AOE was already designed for PPCs, I would not doubt if they are presently working for a PPC version of AOK as well. So you might want to wait a little longer.

Another option is to get a dos emulator then search for old dos abandonware such as Dune 2.

Yea, I forgot about Warfare Inc. That's a pretty good game also. I couldn't get it to play well on my WM5 unit either. It has a tendancy to uit right in the middle of gameplay or just lockup. AOE would do the same thing. I wish there was a bigger market for these kind of games so there would be more produced.

I have no problems using AOE on my X51 with WM5.

It says the software is not for my device (x51v 624 )when I try to install AOE... How could U manage tj42..?

I just installed as normal and it runs. I don't have any reg edits or tweaks or software that force it into VGA mode. I also have the x51v 624.

Warlords II, Ancient Evil from PocketPC Studios. Warlords II definitely works on my x51v.
