I am trying to use excell for workorders at my place of work and then I can have the customer sighn on my dell when I am done but when I import the file back into my pc all the formatting is lost, is there any way that it can be saved or any other way I might make this happen it doesn't have to be excell I just want to be able to type up workorders which is a set form then have them sighn and then import into my pc and print it out without losing how the form is set up ...any help would be helpful

Hmm. It does not sound like you need Excel. PhatPad might help. You could scan an empty printed work order form and use it as the background image in PhatPad. The customer can then sign in the signature field on the scanned form - you would have to scroll to the right position first - in his/her hand writing. The results of this is an image file which you can print on the PC.
