I use recently Axim X 51 v. Without navigator.
Question:
Are there maps or road maps of Germany which one can store and look without GPS navigator on the Axim ?

Autoroute (or Streets and trips) has a ppc component called pocket streets. You can either export your own maps or download them free from MS (no naviation though)

or Mapopolis has plenty of maps available....
