I just got my X51v opened it up to go through the basic stuff and after a good run-through I ended up at the switch bar just to make sure everything was closed that I had been playing with ……But

Every time I tap on it I just get a “beep” and nothing … no window showing open (running items nothing …just stays on the System screen showing all icons.
I had an X50v and know it should open as a new window and shop running items.

I’m I doing something wrong or is it just not working >??

Start >settings>System tap Switcher Bar …..And I get nothing at All…Just a beep.

Please let my know if any of you have had this happen.

Have you tried a soft reset? Also, no need to post the same question in two forums.

Busted...I just was worried and well you know strinth in numbers.....
But anyway Yes and that did nothing but seam to fix the issue so I am an idiot x2
1. for posting twice and 2. For not trying that first.....I guess I just panicked

it's a bug i read about in another site, if you use up a lot of memory (RAM) on the dell the switcher bar will stop working. I think if you have about 5-8MB left it will stop. The icon is still there but nothing happens apart from the beep, i have the same problem with mine.
