I am currently evaluating JetCet from Westtek. It supports HP, Epson, and Canon (I believe) printers. Unlike ActivePrint 4.1, it can use network printers. One thing I have noticed that it requires printers to be "shared" from a server or desktop.
JetCet can print directly to a network printer if the printer supports IPP (Internet Printing Protocol). I have an HP laserjet connected to a D-Link print server that I am trying to setup to use IPP. Still working on it...
I've only printed a few things such as notes and email, but it works very well. Printing PDF files requires an additional Westtek application.
It is a low-cost solution at only $8.95...
