Intentionally left out features?

I have known, but didnt know it was to this degree, that there is so many left out features that were in the old OS! They are still "there" but the menu items and all ways of accessing them has been removed! The first thing I noticed was no drawing in Pocket Word! I use to use that A LOT! I have seen more like making notes for tasks, contacts, you can no longer draw!

I just recently got pocket informant, and guess what? It lets you draw when you are making a contact! Then, if you open it up with the built in contact program, it can see the drawings and it even saws drawing and you can select parts of it just like it was meant to be there, but there is no way to get to the drawing menu because it was removed!

I think they did this on purpose so they leave opportunities for 3rd party developers to put the API into their program and include the menu for drawing (and other left out features) and get lots of money for it! This is not a good way of doing things! I cant believe they would do something like this! WM5 has NOTHING over 2003SE! It just has a prettier interface but with less feature. I have not seen one thing in it that is better then 2003SE

so basically it's exactly like the "upgrade" to Vista from XP; all it is is a prettier interface.

and I have had the same experiance as you, I've found a few things that IMO are slightly counterintuitive, whereas WM2003SE was faster and easier to use.

Vista does actually improve on the code by rearranging it and whatnot though, but they did not "remove" features that will be "made" by a 3rd party
