Download pop email wirelessly

I just got an Axim 51, and I want to download e-mail wirelessly through wi-fi. But when I try to do this, the default account (Outlook E-mail) doesn't download my mail from my pop3 account and doesn't send messages out until I sync with my PC. If I set up a new account it all works perfectly, but that account doesn't sync with my PC. I want to sync with my PC at home and download and send through my ISP when I'm away, all to the same account. Any help appreciated, thanks.

Also, is there any way to delete an account? (other than a hard reset)

The default is just for ActiveSync (and cannot be deleted). You need to set up new account settings for your POP3 account. These POP3 accounts can be removed by holding the stylus on the account name in options and selecting Delete from the popup.

Have a look here for a start

Under your email
accounts/accounts/options
you may select and hold the account.
A 'delete' then pops up ....

Btw: welcome to the AximSite .... stay and enjoy :-)

Edit: Ike ... you are too fast for me ;-)

I set the PDA to leave messages on the server and .cc myself on send/reply. That way they are there in my inbox on the PC.

I set my x3i to
'Get message headers only'
and mark
'Include' 64k (or less)

In this way the message is retained on the pop3 server
but each msg end with a

[Message truncated. Tap Edit->Mark for Download to get remaining portion.]

which can be ignored if the msg is less than 64k in size.

How do you set the PDA to leave messages on the server. I cannot find that option on my email account options.
