Freeware WM5 Mass Storage

I just happened to come across this freeware that can export the storage card of a Windows Mobile 5 device as a USB Mass Storage.

WM5torage url - http://www.modaco.com/WM5torage-t238545.html

I already have Card Export which is great but I will give this freeware a try as well anyway. Enjoy!!

Lodis. Please report your result when you have tested it.
I tried it a few days ago but my PC couldn't assign a drive letter for my Axim.

Doesn't work at all for me, my PC doesn't even reconize it. Do we need to do anything on the Desktop, or only on the PPC? Perhaps, as RudeRam said, it could be only for Smartphones, although the site does say something about PPCs.

Even though it is for Smartphones users also reported it working with PocketPC's hence why I posted in this forum about it.

Edit: I just tried it in Windows XP. I see the USB Icon like it is recognising it but after this nothing else happens. Windows reports it as an unknown device (the most current version is 1.41).

i think we're just better off using a memory card reader, sure it doesn't look as cool, but its faster =D

Doesn't work for me either. I try the lastest version and the one before that. The latest version 1.45 activate fine but don't recognize any of my cards(SD or CF) and didn't assign any drive.

I use a Memory Card Reader as well but I also use Card Export which works perfectly and is a reasonable speed. They have versions for WM2003 and WM2005 if you don't mind paying for it.

No it didn't work for me. I switched over to Sofick Card Export II and so far it's been awesome.
