I am currently using BatteryBar Lite, and would like to upgrade to full functions. I hear Wizbar is good, but I hate to spend money without asking my friends about their experiences. What do you guys think?

I really like Wisbar, but it does impact the system a bit. It has a trial, give it a whirl!

Wisbar is nice because it allows you to skin/theme the top and bottom bars. But it can be quite the resource hog. If you just want something to change the "X" to a close button get magic button and then spend the money you would have spent on Wisbar for a good Launcher program.

I guess it really all depends on what you want from the device. iLauncher and pocket plus are both capable of producing battery/meters but have a ton of other functionality along with it.
